The people handling the day to day operations of this event are Clint & Brandie Henderson. 

 

Both have a variety of experience both in sports event management as well as participating in: Runs, Adventure Races, Relay Races, Triathlons, Biking Races, Road Races, etc.

Brandie is a native Texan, an AOII alumnae, former middle school coach and an over all fitness fanatic.  In addition to her day job as an art consultant, she also coaches part time High School Track, does Crossfit and now is Crossfit Level 1 certified. She also handles the day to day aspects of the Capital to Coast Relay race.  Her detail oriented ways, and bubbly and cheerful personality are contagious.   She is excited to help make this the most fun relay race you have ever done!!

Clint was formally the National Event Manager for USA Rugby and for several years successfully ran all 22 of their National Championship Events.  He is also a former college and high school wrestling coach, and now he operates his own business, Every Brand Apparel. He is also an "everything sports" guy, a Crossfit addict, an avid runner, biker, and triathlete. 

Most of all he loves competition and has:

  • Run the Hood to Coast Relay 4x,
  • Run the Pikes Peak Marathon 2x,
  • Run the Pikes Peak Ascent 3x,
  • Biked the Seattle to Portland Bike Race in one day 1x,  
  • Biked the Ironhorse Bike Race from Durango, CO to Silverton, CO 1x,
  • Run 6 Marathons and 3 Triathlons
  • Run the Austin Oyster Urban Adventure Race 2x,
  • Run the Blue Bell 10K Fun Run 2x,
  •  in other words - HE LOVES THIS STUFF and LOVES putting on athletic events!!
