There are a couple ways for you to see the race course from its start in Austin, click on the links below to view:
Leg 1 6.0 miles
WELCOME TO AUSTIN!! Very nice scenic run thru downtown Austin up historic South Congress Ave., past 6th Street, over the famous 'bat bridge' - home of the largest urban bat dwelling in the US. At mile 1.0 a gradual hill starts and continues thru mile 3.5. Cross over the 290 Intersection and at mile 4.3 a decline begins. Great start to the relay.
Exchange 1 - Corner of Congress and William Cannon at Cannon Square Shopping Center. Leg 2 continues on William Cannon taking a right.

Residential / business area. Winding road with hills and valleys. Nice sidewalks on William Cannon. At mile 1.8 take a left on Manchaca (FM 2304)- bits of traffic and congestion, please use crosswalks and watch the lights. After 4.7 miles n Manchaca you will then take a RIGHT on FM 1626. You will see the exchange at the Church on the left, near the intersection of 2304/1626.
Exchange 2 - At Manchaca Baptist Church.
 Leg 3 6.9 miles
Going down 1626 it is flat residential country road, very narrow shoulder. Please wear orange vest. This leg is a real cross country run. At mile 4.5 take a left onto FM 967. Follow FM 967 until it turns into Loop 4/Main St.
Exchange 3 - Exchange at St. Elizabeth Episcopal church. Please park across the street.
 Leg 4 7.3 miles
Please wear orange vest on this leg as it has a very narrow shoulder.
Welcome to Buda!!! Follow 967 the overpass to CR 131. Route continues with hills and valleys on this piece of country road. Take a right on the feeder road of 35 for .5 miles then cross I-35 on
the overpass to CR 131. Route continues with hills and valleys on this piece of country road. Stay on Windy Hill Rd. You will run for 3.2 miles until the exchange point at the intersection of Windy Hill Rd. and FM 2001 (there is a gravel cut thru)
Exchange 4 - Exchange on cut through gravel road at intersection of 131(Windy Hill Road) and FM 2001.
 Leg 5 5.6 miles
Please wear orange vest on this leg as it has a very narrow shoulder. Take a right on 2001 from the exchange. This is a country road with very windy hills and valleys. Great country side views! You will run for 5.6 miles and then see the Exchange point at the Valero Gas Station on the left hand side.
Exchange 5 - Takes place at intersection of 2001 and hwy 21. Valero Gas station is on your left.
 Leg 6 5.7 miles
Take a right onto Hwy 21 to start this leg of the relay. At mile 1.6 turn left onto FM 2001, towards Lockhart, Texas. No Texas Relay would be complete without large game fences, which you will see on your right. Once you start on FM 2001 you will run for 4.1 miles until the exchange.
Exchange 6 - Takes place at Bridge located at 2001 and County Road 233.
 Leg 7 5.9 miles
Nice flat run along Texas Cotton Fields! Keep running down FM 2001 and stay on this road the whole time as you come into Lockhart....Take a right on N. Blanco Rd. as you come into town, exchange is on the RIGHT.
Exchange 7 - Texas Department of Transportation at street before intersection of hwy 183 and FM 2001, Blanco Road.
 Leg 8 6.9 miles
Lot of directions for leg 8 as you run through Lockhart. Continue straight on Blanco Road for 1.0 miles, then take a Right on San
Antonio Street and run for .8 miles and then take a left on San Jacinto Street- residential area. Run down San Jacinto for 1.2 miles, then take a right on State Park Road / FM 20 ( at 3.0 miles from the exchange). Run for another 3.9 miles down FM 20 until the exchange. Exchange 8 - State Park road and County Road 109, aka Black Ankle Rd
 Leg 9 6.9 miles
Texas Country Road. From the exchange point keep on running down FM 20, and at mile 1.2 there is a hill that is about a quarter mile long then back to a flat run. At mile 6.5 cross over Hwy 80. Go .4 past the Hwy and then you will see the exchange at the San Marcos River. (LOOK FOR PEOPLE TUBING :)
Exchange 9 - Immediately before Guadalupe County Line and the San Marcos River.
  Leg 10 5.9 miles
Continue on the long country road / FM 20. Flat plain for most of the run. At mile 2.5 take a left on to continue to stay on Hwy 20. Then run 3.4 miles on FM 20 until the Exchange on the side of the road on the right.
Exchange 10 - At address 11800 Hwy 20.
 Leg 11 6.0 miles
Slight incline for first .7 miles.......Don’t get excited and head to Germano. Keep on running down FM 20 for the entire 6.0 miles until you come to Timmerman Rd.
Exchange 11 - Exchange at Timmerman Rd.
 Leg 12 8.2 miles
Flat plains in to Seguin. Take a left onto business 123/ N. Austin Rd. Run under IH 10. Left on to Kingsbury Rd and run for .9 miles. Right on King Street for .2 miles, left onto Cedar Street after .2 miles.
Exchange 12 - Matador Stadium- Seguin High School
Leg 13 5.1 miles
Continue out of stadium and on to Cedar St. At corner take a right onto 123 South. Please use sidewalk until out of business area.
Exchange 13 - Exchange after Cottonwood Creek.
 Leg 14 4.4 miles
Rolling hills right out of the gate......
Exchange 14 - Smithey’s Country Store
 Leg 15 5.2 miles
Few Rolling hills, mostly flat plains.
Exchange 15 - Longhorn Volunteer Fire Department

Exchange 16 - County Road 426....dirt road
 Leg 17 6.3 miles
** if for some reason there is flooding in the area the first mile of this leg will be changed.
Continue on dirt road FM426. At first intersection take a left onto county road 425 at mile 1.0 Jump back on 123 taking a right. Don’t blink, you will run through Stockdale, Texas.
Exchange 17 - .2 miles past hwy 97 at the Ferrell Gas Building on the outside of town.
 Leg 18 7.7 miles
Continue on 183 outside of Stockdale. Exchange 18 - Prusri’s fuel and tires
 Leg 19 7.2 miles
Continue on 183s and this leg end at a beautiful Texas Historic Site in Czestochowa, Texas
Exchange 19 - Take a right on 3191 and exchange at Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
 Leg 20 5.1 miles
Loop out of church parking lot and jump back on 183 South Exchange 20 - Exchange before the San Antonio River.
 Leg 21 5.1 miles
This leg of the relay will take you into Karnes City, Texas. Take Business 123 at mile 2.3. Exchange 21 - 123 (Panna Maria and 181)- Fireworks stand!
 Leg 22 4.3 miles
Take a left on 181 Exchange 22 - Wells Fargo Parking lot - Park at large shopping center next door to the Wells Fargo.
 Leg 23 7.0 miles
Gradual hill at mile 4.2. Exchange 23 - Exchange at Jct 2509
 Leg 24 5.9 miles
Nice flat run.
Exchange 24 - Before Jct 798 and Circle Blvd to Pawnee.
  Leg 25 6.2 miles
Run through Pettus Exchange 25 - Pettus NBC Little League Pirates field
Leg 26 7.1 miles
At mile 3.7 gradual 1 mile hill climb. Take 181 business route into Beeville, Texas.
Exchange 26 - Takes place at junction 2824
Leg 27 6.3 miles
Thru Beeville, downtown on 181 business. - no sidewalks, please run with caution. St. Mary’s to North Washington Street. At 5.3 miles go right
Exchange 27 - Junction 351 at the John Deere Dealership.
 Leg 28 7.2 miles
Take Right at 351 and then Left on 888.
Exchange 28 - Exchange on County road 502
 Leg 29 6.4 miles
At mile 2.4 take a left on 797 - narrow road not shoulder, flat grass!
Exchange 29 - Skidmore ISD Building
 Leg 30 7.6 miles
* on highway, please be alert. Take a right on 181s
Exchange 30 - County road 631(Baker Road)
 Leg 31 6.2 miles
* on highway, please be alert Highway - Big Flat grass on the side! Exit FM 3089.
Exchange 31 - Exchange on Feeder to 183 at 24H
 Leg 32 6.7 miles
2.7 miles take right to Sinton, south on 181. at mile 4.7 left on Sinton street run through downtown Sinton, TX - yep use the sidewalks.
Exchange 32 - Before 181 south exit - large parking lot (open area)
 Leg 33 6.8 miles
* on highway please be alert
Exchange 33 - Exchange at 631/ Davis road and Avenue C - Park at Purina Building
 Leg 34 6.7 miles
* on highway please be alert - Continue on 181. Exit 361 south towards Aransas Pass. Take a Right on FM 2986.
Exchange 34 - Before Rail Road tracks.
 Leg 35 4.2 miles
Go down 2986 (wildcat drive) past High School and Stadiums. At mile 2.9 turn right on Memorial Parkway - residential area, use sidewalks. Exchange 35 - Memorial and Broadway- Pass through parking lot.
 Leg 36 6.3 miles
Last leg...stay in barriers! Out of parking lot- take a Left on Moore St, Right on 35 to 191s. At mile 5.2 exit Burleson St Left on 181 (Surfside), Left on Breakwater to the finish line. FINISH ON THE BEACH!!!!
